• In order to have access to activities like: personal development and/or specialization courses, individual counseling, dedicated audio and written materials, get-togetherings and festive events organized during the year, trips, etc., it is necessary to become an Active Sympathiser of The Association.

• In order to have access to the activities of The Association you have to be/become Active Sympathiser.

• At the moment, the Active Sympathisers are the beneficiaries of the following activities: personal development and/or specialization courses, individual sessions, get-togetherings and festive events organized during the year, trips, etc.

• It is necessary to send an email to our address contact@patristicpsychology.com in which you describe the problem you are facing and leave a phone number  where you can be contacted directly.

• As soon as possible, you will be contacted by phone. If your problem falls within our area of expertise, you will be scheduled for an evaluation session, during which it will be decided how we can further support you.

• In order to benefit from individual sessions it is necessary to be/become Active Sympathiser of The Association. You will be informed about these aspects during the first evaluation session.

*Please note that the main mission of the Association is to research and elaborate the field, principles and methods of Patristic Psychology, and we can respond to a limited number of requests for individual counseling and courses.

• Everyone must ask for support on their behalf. You can recommend our Association and its services to anyone, but those persons need to build their own opinion and to ask for support on their behalf, following the steps above.

• The Association does not work directly with children. Nevertheless, the Active Sympathisers who are in the process of individual training, can benefit of guidance also in respect of parents-children relationship.

• Our intervention method entails working individually with each partner at a time because, from the perspective of inner anatomy, the process of healing the relationships with others (partner, children, parents, friends, colleagues, etc) depends on healing the relationship with oneself.

• The patristic psychology is a pioneering field developed both nationally and internationally by Simona Ciobanu, PhD, who is also the only specialist in this field. At the moment, there is only one more trainer accredited within our Association. Both are currently working at the headquarter of The Association in Bucharest, offering also online sessions, if necessary.

• The courses in our Association usually follow the structure of the academic calendar: October – June (exceptionally July).

• Their organization depends on the approval of The Association’s Board for the given academic year, which means that they are not organized on an annual basis.

• If it is decided to organize a course in October of the current year, you can expect to find the necessary information on the website in the section COURSES and on our social media pages during the summer time.

• In order to join our courses, it is necessary to be/become an Active Sympathiser of The Association.

• Yes. Our courses and individual training sessions are also held online.

• No. The courses represent a method of self-work, a vision of life, a way of living in the world and interacting with others, aspects that require a longer time and a constant practice in order to achieve results.

• Attending any of our courses does NOT automatically lead to obtaining a participation diploma or any other form of certification. From the very beginning, our courses were made at the request of our Sympathisers, whose only motivation has been personal training.

• The training/certification of specialists within our Association follows the rute described in the section: TRAIN THE TRAINER

• The Active Sympathiser adheres to the principles, values and working method of The Association.

• The Active Sympathiser is the direct beneficiary of The Association’s expertise disseminated in the form of: personal development and/or specialization courses, individual training, dedicated audio and written materials, get-togetherings and festive events organized during the year, trips, etc.

• The Active Sympathiser supports a part of The Association’s activities by the payment of a minimum monthly contribution. The amount of this minimum monthly contribution is decided for each activity by the The Association’s Board, annually. At the moment, only the courses and individual training activities are supported by contributions, the others are being provided by The Association.

• The Praxis volunteers are recruited from among the Active Sympathisers depending on the level of commitment towards their personal praxis.

• Volunteering within The Association is seen as a stage of growth and a context of in-depth self-work offered to the Volunteer.

• The Volunteers are constituted in the VoP Club.

• The activities in which the volunteers are involved can be very diverse, depending on their personal praxis, the abilities that they wish to develop and also The Association’s needs: technical editing of audio / video / written materials, organizing the online presence of The Association, administrative activities, primary research activities, etc.

• At the moment, our Association is self-financing through the financial contributions of the Active Sympathisers who adhere to the working method and the values of The Association, which is essential to become part of their personal praxis.
