Journeys to the Place of the Heart is the socializing project of The Association, in which we wish to have close to us all those who can relate to our work: sympathisers, volunteers, specialists, researchers, friends of The Association, etc.
From our perspective, the place of the heart represents the space where the soul prepares for meeting the true self, while the journey encapsulates the joy of the road to get there.
The project takes place in the form of:
1. Podium discussions – applied topics of contemporary interest suggested by the Active Sympathisers, approached from the perspective of patristic psychology. Participants attend the podium discussions and they may ask questions afterwards.
In these get-togetherings The Active Sympathisers may invite family members, friends, etc. who are interested in a first contact with this field within a friendly and knowledge-consistent environment. The eventual unoccupied places are made available to the general public.
2. Trips – dedicated to Active Sustainers and their guests, organized in the country and abroad.
Over time, the trip to Bulgaria became traditional and is organized every year on The Descent of the Holy Spirit and The Holy Trinity (national holidays). First stop is in Russe, where our Sustainers and their guests have the opportunity to attend the Holy Liturgy in Bulgarian and Romanian languages, at The Ascension Of The Lord Church. Next stop is at The Rock Monastery of Saint Dimitrie Basarabov and then we go to other Bulgarian destinations which are different from one year to another, in the mountains or at the seaside.
The project launch took place on February 2nd, 2016, at Grand Hotel Continental, The Tonitza Room, Bucharest.
